Asieh Tabaghdehi, Ashley Braganza, and Lefteris Krestos of Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ Business School write to Tech UK about the role of fake news in society.
"The spread of fake news undermines the integrity of elections and damages public trust in democratic institutions. In response to these challenges, there is a pressing need for regulatory action to address the risks created by AI to democracy," the authors claim.
