The conference will take place on the 21st of May 2024, and will be Hosted by the University of York. UPEN's theme for this year is 'connecting and collaborating across the academic-policy engagement landscape'.
In this conference, we will hear from Kersten England OBE on place-based policymaking, Hannah White CBE on the Institute for Government and what this year and future years might hold for evidence-informed policymaking, and a panel on place-based policymaking. We will also be holding facilitated discussions, networking and showcase spaces to highlight the variety and richness of those working in the sector.
