Common engineering first year to build a strong foundation
At Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ, every engineering student across all five disciplines (Aerospace; Chemical; Civil; Electronic and Electrical; and Mechanical and Automotive Engineering) follow the same first year. So, you’ll learn the fundamentals of each subject before continuing with your chosen specialism for the next two years. This gives you an unusually broadbased understanding of engineering principle.
Brilliant industry-level facilities
You'll benefit from specialised equipment such as supersonic and subsonic wind tunnels, a full-motion engineering flight simulator, and many more. You’ll be taught in our well-equipped computing labs with up-to-date software including AA, Catia, Matlab and CAD. You can also take advantage of having access to the other engineering facilities, whether you're working on hydrocycles in mechanical or electronic components when working on robots. Additionally, Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ is the closest university to London’s Heathrow Airport, giving ample opportunities for site visits, placement and career options.
