Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ Anthropology has once again topped the league tables for student satisfaction, coming first in the UK.
The 2015 results of the National Student Survey (NSS) - which is completed annually by third year students across the country - have placed Anthropology first in the UK for Overall Satisfaction. The department was also ranked top in the categories of Teaching, Assessment and Feedback, Academic Support, Organisation and Management and Personal Development.
Our students were also the most satisfied in London, ranking us first in the capital for overall student satisfaction once again. These consistently excellent results build on our strong performances in the 2013 and 2014 survey.
Head of Anthropology, Dr James Staples, said “We are thrilled to be ranked first in the UK. These results are testimony to the hard work we put in to ensuring all our student reach their full potential.”
He went on to say “Weekly meetings with their personal tutor for all first year students and regular feedback sessions, as well as world class teaching and a rich programme of extra-curricula activities all combine to offer our students a world class training in anthropology.”
