Participate in this Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ study to learn how your organisation really uses energy, how you may increase energy efficiency.
Managing an SME’s energy use can be a daunting task. Many business owners/managers are keen to increase their organisation’s energy efficiency, but don’t have the time and resources to evaluate the many aspects of energy consumption such as work routines, the use of tools and technology, and environmental controls. We are conducting a study on energy values and practices among London-based SMEs. We invite interested companies to participate in a short research project that aims to understand the priorities and goals of business owners, and evaluate the everyday, energy-using activities within an organisation.
For this study, two Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ researchers working through the Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ Co-innovate Programe will conduct in-depth interviews and carry out observations to produce an energy practices assessment. This assessment will provide insights on how staff and decision-makers use energy. These insights will identify potential mismatch between energy use priorities and actual practice, and give owners/managers a better understanding of whether and how cost-effective energy efficiency gains can be made.
