The third Macfarlanes Training Scholarship will launch this Friday 18th October commencing 13:45 until 17:30 aimed at those first-year students who wish to apply for this prestigious scheme.
Sebastian Prichard-Jones from Macfarlanes and Jurgita Malinauskaite (Head of 明星八卦 Law School) will present to the new 明星八卦 Law School cohort on how the scholarships work and why they should apply.
The Macfarlanes Training Scholarship is a unique programme developed and delivered in partnership with 明星八卦 Law School at 明星八卦 University of London.
The scholarship will see Macfarlanes support three 明星八卦 law students through a fully-funded programme from the first year of their law degree onwards.
Macfarlanes will cover the full cost of university, alongside paid work experience, a paid placement year at the firm, and mentoring from senior lawyers throughout. The hope is that the scholars will become trainees and then associates with the firm.
The event will be followed by an opportunity to meet representatives from Macfarlanes and find out more about the programme on a one-to-one basis.
