Mathematics lecturer wins Lecturer of the Year award
On May 3, Union of Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ Students celebrated best practice at Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ at the Student Led Teaching awards.
Every year students have the opportunity to show their appreciation for Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ staff who have helped them this academic year---those who have given them excellent teaching and support. The Union acknowledges the University's lecturers and staff members who stand out from the rest and inspire, challenge and engage their students via the Student Led Teaching Awards.
This year Martin Greenhow, senior lecturer at the Department of Mathematics won the Lecturer of the Year award for the College of Engineering, Design & Social Sciences. The department is proud that his dedication to and care for students has been recognised by this award.
Furthermore, Diana Roman and Rhiannon Hall, both lecturers at the Department of Mathematics were also nominated for Lecturer of the Year and Tutor/Supervisor of the Year respectively.
