Nursing at Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ is taught and supported by an experienced and dynamic team of nurse educators. Your course capitalises on the expertise of your lecturers and your peers. You’ll work individually and together with your peers to develop innovative best practices for the sector.
Accredited degrees
On successful completion of your nursing degree, you’ll be eligible for (NMC) registration. With your degree, this enables you to practise as a registered nurse in the UK.
Brilliant clinical facilities
Nursing at Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ is based in our state-of-the-art Mary Seacole building, where you’ll learn the skills of nursing within our designated simulation suite. This incorporates our new Blended Learning Interactive Simulation suite (BLISs) and clinical skills laboratories. You’ll use mannequin simulators to develop your essential skills, such as recording a patient’s temperature, pulse and respiratory rate, medicine management and suctioning a patient, safe in the knowledge that you can practise new skills without any risks.
Balanced learning: 50% theory, 50% practical
You’ll learn through an equal balance of theory and practice, gaining your professional experience in a variety of healthcare settings, where you’ll work closely with other healthcare professionals, service users and their families.
On our adult, mental health and children’s nursing degrees, you’ll gain at least of 2,300 hours of placements in areas such as hospital wards, communities and Emergency Units. There’s also the possibility to choose your own elective placements, so you can start building a career in your preferred area as soon as you graduate.
Half of our specialist community public health nursing programme is dedicated to supervised practice placements. So as a qualified nurse or midwife, you can continue to build your understanding, while gaining practical experience in the areas of health visiting, occupational health nursing or school nursing.

Our London location is ideal for access to a wide variety of placements, so you’ll graduate with exceptional clinical placement experiences on your CV. When it comes to finding your placement, our are on hand to provide you with specialist support and guidance. We have great links with the local NHS and Community Trusts, as well as with organisations employing occupational health nurses.
