Summary

Beowulf "Wulfie" Mayfield worked as a local newspaper journalist in the Midlands and London for more than 20 years. He had a particular interest in writing about music and musicians. He also worked as a press officer for national charities and an independent record company and collaborated with musician Billy Jenkins to produce videos and The Billy Jenkins Listening Club podcast. He is a self-taught photographer and has a particular interest in experimental techniques such as pinhole photography, coaxing images out of vintage analogue cameras and light-painting. He shares the benefit of his long experience in journalism and enthusiasm for photography, design, video making and podcasting to teach the practical skills required for contemporary journalism. He designed Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ's newspaper The Hillingdon Herald.
