Our mission is to make work better for people. 

The research of the HRM-OB Group focuses on sustainability, diversity and inclusion, impact and wellbeing. We think of wellbeing in broad terms which encompass responsible and ethical leadership; employee voice; work and life satisfaction; fairness at work, defining and establishing what are fair conditions of work, the role of government and other regulation in upholding labour standards; how compassion can be practised in organisations and the effects of this practice on organizational performance and worker wellbeing. 

This group is at the forefront of research into equality, diversity and inclusion, gender inequality in society and organisations and migration.  

The work of the HRM-OB group recognizes how different economic and societal contexts shape the interactions between workers and organisations.
