This is done through various events and activities which offer every single student the chance to raise money for great causes. Students can fundraise for any UK registered charities with the support RAG, or they can fundraise for the Union's 3-4 supported Charities, which are confirmed at the beginning of each academic year. London Himalayan Short Film Festival 2024
London Himalayan Short Film Festival 2024 was organised in collaboration between Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ South Asia Studies Research Group and The Critical Himalayan Collective and featured a stellar line up of short films from the Himalayan regions of Nepal, Northeast India and Tibet.
The film festival theme was 'Mangkolen' translating to 'Tomorrow' in the indigenous Bantawa language from the Himalayan region and this theme was used to explore key issues facing the Himalayan regions, including ecology, environment, sustainability, indigeneity, identity and diaspora.
