Irenosen Okojie's first short story collection Speak Gigantular, was nominated for many awards and her debut novel Butterfly Fish won a Betty Trask award. She was recently featured in the vening Standard Magazine as one of London's most exciting new authors. Leone Ross's first short story collection is Come Let Us Sing Anyway (2017). Her two novels are All the Blood is red and Orange Laughter, which was nominated for many awards and named by Wasafiri as one of the most influential British novels of the last 25 years. There will also be student readings from Simi Abe & Fatou Sohna on the night
