Occupational therapy inspirational alumni

Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ has long produced occupational therapists who have gone on to make a positive impact on many people’s lives.

(Occupational Therapy MSc, 2018) newly qualified occupational therapist, recently won the Allied Health Professional at 2018 Student Leadership Programme Awards by the Council of Deans of Health. Rob won this prestigious industry accolade for demonstrating outstanding leadership skills that positively contribute to the profession.

Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ’s occupational therapists are not just making an impact in the clinical world – some are professional athletes too!

Ann Wild OBE (Occupational Therapy BSc, 2002) has represented Great Britain's women's wheelchair basketball team at five Summer Paralympics from 1988 to 2008. Ann made her international debut aged just 13 and was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen's birthday honours list 2010 for her services to wheelchair basketball.
