Summary
Oliver Buchan is an educator and consultant specialising in light integration within the built environment. With a long industry-based career in optical design and photometric measurement, he has had the pleasure of working on many prestigious projects internationally. The focus on ‘integration’ has led to a range of other expertise including Light Art, Building Acoustics, CAD/CAM, phycology and vertical farming.
Other interests and experience include Management Philosophy, Beyond Growth, Entrepreneurialism, Additive Manufacturing (especially screen printing of functional inks) and Lean Manufacturing.
Oliver is a long-standing member of, and contributor to the CIBSE Society of Light and Lighting.
