Collaborative partnerships

Over the years we have benefited from successful partnerships delivering innovative solutions through our relationships.

Dr Zhao has also built a strong network of international research collaborations with Prof. Stefano Utili from Newcastle University, Prof. Jidong Zhao from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Giovanni Crosta from Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca, Italy, Prof. Gordon Zhou from Chinese Academy of Sciences and Prof. Yong Liu from Wuhan University (China) on developing integrate numerical models to study the mobilization mechanism of landslides and the impacts on infrastructures.

Dr Yin has collaborated across academia and industry including with Dr. Paul Dimmock (BP, NGI), Dr. Stuart Haigh (University of Cambridge), Prof. Kenichi Soga (University of Cambridge, University of California, Berkeley).

Dr Hosking has collaborated across academia and industry to develop successful proposals and conduct research, including with Główny Instytut Górnictwa (GIG, Polish Central Mining Institute), Polska Grupa Górnicza, GFZ Helmholtz Centre Potsdam, the University of Leeds, Aberystwyth University, and Bangor University.

Dr Argyroudis is collaborating with many research groups, including University of Surrey (Dept of Civil and Environmental Engineering), UK, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Dept of Civil Engineering), Greece, Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI), Norway, National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), Italy, Bristol University (Dept of Civil Engineering), UK, University of Strathclyde (Dept of Civil & Environmental Engineering), resUK, Eiffel University (Université Gustave Eiffel), France, University of Padova (Dept of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering), Italy, Lehigh University, USA, Stanford University, USA. He is also actively work with Consultants/stakeholders, including Winter Associates Limited, TRL | The Future for Transport, UK, Highways England and Transport Scotland.
