In our commitment to removing any barriers or institutional and structural social inequalities to success, we have:
- accredited Level Disability Confident Leader status.
- renewed our Athena SWAN Bronze Award and hold a silver award in Life Sciences and five departmental Bronze awards in Law, Mathematics, Clinical Sciences, Computer Sciences and Health Sciences.
- achieved Top 100 LGBTQ+ Inclusive Employer and Silver Award winner in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index 2023. We also have an active LGBTQ+ staff network and are working to make sure Ã÷ÐÇ°ËØÔ is a place where people can be out about their sexuality and gender identity if that's what they choose. - pledged our support to the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (Silver).
- renewed our Working Families benchmark in August 2022 to support working parents and carers find a better balance between responsibilities at home and in the workplace.
