AACN Joins with Nursing Groups to Issue Statement on Immigration Policies

In response to the issue of immigrant children being separated from their parents at our nation's borders, AACN has joined with the Nursing Community Coalition to send a below to the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security requesting immediate action be taken to address this healthcare concern. AACN and 32 additional national nursing organizations—representing a cross-section of nursing education, research, practice, and regulation—remain concerned that this policy is detrimental to the health of immigrant children.
